See me from afar
Time has stopped
The train takes me, rocks me to sleep
Blissful moments shared with you
Now only a faint memory
I close my eyes & the night altering to day
Life is digging in me
She surrounds me
I can feel it
The grip of her claws loosens as I distance myself
But she still visits my mind
Her presence plays tricks on me
Tricks I’ll never learn
Not with a mind like mine, so stuck in my own ways
But I don’t want to move
Moving means no more presence.
