As a first year staff writer, and a fervid liberal arts nerd, at that, I look forward to actively contributing to the formation of our virtual newspaper this year. In my free time I love to read (especially classic French and English literature), paint (I am quite an amateur artist as I just began at the start of quarantine), cook (I am thAt vEgAn girl), dance, and, of course, write. My daily intake and analysis of world, national, and local news shapes my outlook on matters of pertinence within society; and I am always game to have a long discussion about an influential current event or defining moment within this weird, but wonderful, world that we are living in.
