As the school year comes to a close, new SCA officers prepare to take on new and bigger roles as leaders of the school. They all have new goals, ideas for the next school year, and they are excited to make their mark on the PA community.
SCA President: Emily Winstead
Running unopposed, current IB junior Emily Winstead won SCA President for the 2026-2027 school year. Winstead has been involved with SCA and SCA-related events since freshman year, serving as chair for Cavs for a Cause and on the committee for Love Run. During her sophomore year, she served as Love Run Chair. This past year, Winstead was Service Coordinator, where she and two other coordinators, “planned and executed Love Run,” Winstead explained.
One of Winstead’s main goals for the upcoming school year is to increase schoolwide participation in SCA events. She explained how she wants to bring back the SCA Executive Council which she says is another way for students who are not officers to get involved and help out with SCA. “Increasing participation during spirit weeks and pep rallies is another goal because our school is just as strong as our school spirit,” she noted.
Winstead explained that she is excited for next year to execute her ideas and goals. “I’m really excited to go forward into next year and accomplish our goals and make change in the PA community,” she remarked.

Also running unopposed, the SCA Vice President for the 2026-2027 school year is Amber Musselman, a current IB junior. Musselman has been involved in SCA since her freshman year, where she says she was a Love Run committee member in freshman year and a Love Run Chair in sophomore year. This past school year, Musselman served as an Official Student Council Association Representative (OSCAR). Because she has been involved since her freshman year, Musselman says she is ready to take a bigger role in SCA, like vice president, to help make a great change in the school community.
Musselman says that she is most excited for helping out with “Homecoming and its events along with all of the senior activities that SCA coordinates.” Along with Winstead, Musselman has many goals to increase student engagement with SCA as a whole. “We want to bring back the SCA Executive Council,” she comments. “We also want to increase participation in Spirit Weeks and SCA activities like Powderpuff, the Student Faculty Basketball game, and Pep Rallies.”
“Everyone should get involved with SCA,” Musselman remarks. “I am excited to see what we accomplish next year.”

Christina Delos Reyes, a current IB sophomore, is the new SCA Secretary. This is Delos Reyes’ first time being involved with SCA, but she has served as the Class of 2028 President for the past two years. She further commented on how being a part of SCA in high school has been one of her goals since middle school.
Inspired by the impact that she is making on the class, Delos Reyes says she wanted to get involved in SCA to “make more of an impact and involve more students in SCA.” Delos Reyes adds that she is most excited to “make a change in the PA community that will really impact the future of many students.”
As SCA Secretary, Delos Reyes wants to “organize our goals and activities and keep track of essential ideas,” she explains. “This will help more students get involved with SCA.”
